Junior Retreat Reflection

Molly Dzialga and Isabella MacLeod, Staff Writer

On Tuesday, January 30th 2018, the class of 2019 traveled to Ramapo Camp for Children located in Rhinebeck, New York. The retreat was based on team building and trust activities with a purpose to have a bonding experience. Once we arrived on the campsite, the grade split up into multiple groups. For the first few hours, we played many different games that made us more comfortable around each other.

After lunch, we reconvened in the gym for ropes course. For the ropes course, two students had to work together to get to the top of the 25-foot course. Though challenging, the activities allowed us to try new things and get out of our comfort zones. Overall, the experience allowed the junior class to bond and take a break from stress.
